to build Salome on
FreeBSD
This instruction helps you to build Salome version
5.1.3 on FreeBSD platform.
Salome commited to FreeBSD ports tree (meta-port cad/salome), have fun !
Known bugs
- You need gcc 4.4 build 2009.05.12 or earlier or you've got SIGABRT while starting GUI !
If you want build Salome on FreeBSD/amd64, look at PR ports/143929
Opencascade port broken at this moment, use package
Builded binary packages are available from ftp.freebsd.org and mirros.
TODO LIST:
- Integrate Service Pack 9 to Opencascade port
- netgen as mesher plugin
- dependency from sysinfo library (will be done when this PR will be commited)
- Salome 5.1.4 released already, port will be done when I have time for it
- ... something else ?
